Musophile v.02
¤ About this Version ¤

I am currently obsessed with Toriru and Yukiru, so I decided to make them the spotlight for my blog.

Suteki na Yume means Wonderful Dream. And who wouldn't, when you have Hatori and Yuki to fight over you? ^^

Anyway, this is the second version of Musophile (extreme like of mice->Yuki), and I started this, mainly because my friend, Kyte, um, motivated me to do so. So, um, thanks, KIC!

The page was made, thanks to MS Front Page, Arcsoft Photo Studio, and some div this and that  knowledge I gained from other blogs. The lay-out was finalized on May 19, 2003.

She is currently a college freshman taking up BS Information Technology in STI San Fernando. Her pastimes include making fics, reading the Inquirer cover to cover, reading manga, watching animes, playing the computer, playing with her pets, chatting with her online friends, bullying her bratty sister, drawing, studying Japanese, singing Japanese (with a little Korean and Taiwanese on the side), downloading MP3s and anime clips, dubbing, and working on her sites.

She likes cracking jokes, and loves one-liners and anything witty and biting. Although she may seem quiet and reserved first, if you get to know her well enough, you shall see that it's the opposite.

She is a loner, but she certainly is not lonely.

There are three things she love aside from her family: money, internet, and her files. If one of them disappears from her life, she'll collapse into extreme helplessness and despair. ^^;;

Favorite animes: Fruits Basket, Weiss Kreuz, Card Captor Sakura, Detective Conan, Inu Yasha, Hunter x Hunter

Bishounens: Sohma Yuki, Sohma Shigure, Sohma Hatori, Sohma Haru, Squall Lionheart, Cloud Strife, Riku,  Omi Tsukiyono, Ken Hidaka, Li Syaoran, Eriol Hiiragizawa, Touya Kinomoto, Yue, Conan Edogawa, Miroku, Kurapika, Killua, Kuroro, Master Wing, Yuki Eiri, Kamui Shirou, Quatre Raberba Winner, Heero Yuy, Gurucliffe, Eagle Vision, Amiboshi, Van Slanzar de Fanel, Aoshi Shinomori, Kiminobu Kogure, Kanata, Hagiri Kaname a.k.a Sniper, Sesshoumaru,

Bishoujos: Honda Tohru, Daidouji Tomoyo, Mirror Card, Sango, Machi, Dorothy Catalonia, Ayanami Rei, Ibuki Maya, Pai-chan, Misty, Akizuki Nakuru (I still insist that he's a she!), Nene Romanova, Yuna, Aeris,

Manga: I's, Furuba, Pasig, ODID, Super Boy Bob

Couplings (?) supported: Yuki x Tohru x Hatori(Furuba), Eriol x Tomoyo (CCS), Miroku x Sango (IY), Sesshoumaru x Rin (IY), Rei x Shinji (Eva), Hitome x Vahn (Esca), Aya[Ran] x Sakura (Weiss), Quatre x Dorothy (GW), Aoshi x Misao (RK), Suboshi x Yui (FY), Ash x Misty (Pokemon), Kurapika x Neon (HxH), Tira x Carrot (BH), Macky x Nene (BBG 2040), Haru x Kisa (Furuba), Uo x Kyo (Furuba), Rinoa x Squall (FF8)

Syao's Anime Musings:

1. Pikachu must die...but it won't, because it still is a mouse, and because I'm a musophile and a Yukipile, it will live.

2. Chang Wufei annoys me, but he still serves a purpose in GW and in my anime life...because who would annoy me if he's not here?

3. Yaoi is cute...as long as it's Sendo x Rukawa. Give me Gravitation and I'll faint.

4. Saiyans protect the Earth, or so they say. Then in the next scene, they blow up a whole island/city just to kill one enemy. They wreck the balance of nature! They're the real enemies!

5. Back in the 70's and 80's, it is understood that for you to be able to pilot a mecha, you should have the standard hairstyle. Ask Richard, Steve and the lead guy in Combatler V.

6. Heero's got nice, tight-fitting spandex pants...I wonder where he keeps his gun...well, he's good at hiding it...but oh my, there's a part there bulging!

7. Sometimes, people take their hobbies a bit too seriously. Take Mao form Cooking Master Boy for instance. They have these funny waves, thunders, lightning etc scenes that are so serious (although the incident is trivial) that I end up screaming "No way!" on the screen. I haven't even counted the Tamiya racers who build awesome race courses inside volcanoes, or Beybladers who plan to use those crafty tops to rule the world.

8. Old men (I'm talking about those grandpa types!) will always be perverted.

9. Anime characters can eat as much as  they want and they still won't get fat. Look at Sailormoon and Gokou! Look at them! Um, not that way! Ooh, you had too much Dragonmoon x! :P Man, they're unsatiable

I spent roughly 7 hours last night making the blog lay-out for my friend, and guess what? It turned out much cooler than mine! *snicker* But I yet have to upload the design, because I cannot get into the admin of her account. I didn't get to watch Princess Sarah today, so my day is not complete. *sigh*

Syao the Musolover blogged on Thursday, May 22, 2003/11:19 a.m.

Today I woke up at quarter to ten in the morning, thus I wasnt able to watch PollyAnna completely. I watched Princess Sarah next, and I had to endure yet another miserable episode of the life of the kind-heiress-turned-into-a-maid. But I saw Peter, so it's not too bad. ^^ Anyway, I made some revisions on For Keeps, and I don't know how will the readers react. But what can I do? Lately, my creative juices aren't flowing as they used to do before! Family and financial problems are really taking its toll on me, and as the eldest in the siblings, I should stand with my mother no matter what. I'm proud of course, because everyone tells me that I'm more responsible than the common teenagers my age bracket are. I do the budgeting for the family, I do the communication between our family and my estranged father, and I am the one whom everyone runs to for pieces of advice. I grew up way faster than my age, as my dear mother say. But there's still a part of me wishing that I experience what it's like to live a less stressful life without worrying about where to find the money to pay the electric bills and the house rent, or how can I enroll my sister to school, or how can I still stand my father's arrogance, who thinks we should worship him like a god because he's our financial provider. Sometimes, I want to take a break from all of these, and just worry about my fics, about my unmade site, about my online pals... Dakedo, if that happens, who'll help my mom? I always joke around, saying that being the eldest is cool, but only when you are not the one bearing the problems of your whole family on your back. Ah, never mind. Tonight, I'll spend the whole night brainstorming for the continuation of my fics. Internet is the only escape I have from the harshness of reality, that is why I love it so much. It reminds me that I shouldn't be lonely. ^^ BTW, tonight, a comedy sitcom will feature the spoof version of Meteor Garden. ^^ I can't wait to see who'll play who, and what kind of wacky situations will be created for the well-loved characters (in such phenomenally short time! 2 weeks!) of this drama. Truly, Meteor Garden has conquered the Philippines, evident by how people from allwalks of life are talking about it, and how their posters are selling like pancakes in the markets, and how text message in the newspaper are raving about this drama. I understand why the Filipinos are crazy about MG. More than the good, wholesome look of the actors (which provide a fresh breath for some Pinoys who are so used to mestiza and mestizo actors prevalent in our showbiz today, the plot is very good. A middle-class lass struggling to survive in an exclusive school for the filthy rich can touch emotions for the Pinoys who often dream of fairy tale romances. The intelligent dialogues were well-delivered by the talented pool of dubbers that were acquired for MG, and the acting every actor gave is more than decent. ^^ If the scene calls for one actor to do a cartwheel, he would! ^^ Man, there's Syaowee's review of MG in the Philippines. ^^ Unsolicited, yet again.

There! An update on the blog! I'm still wondering if the lay-out is ok ^^;; Not much to say, except that ever since I brought home PC 1 (that's the computer I often use in my fave internet cafe, and I bought it ^^), I feel that all I'm interested in is working on my sites and ficcating...anything that needs a pc to do. ^^ I guess, I was really over-excited about finally, FINALLY having my own pc. Althought it's not yet connected to the internet and I still have to go to the internet cafe to upload the files I make, I still am very grateful because I was able to get the PC. ^^

*sigh* I haven't found time since my last entry to update the blog, since I only have enough time to work on my fics and on my site. Nevertheless, I promise an update after I bring home this PC I'm using right now in the internet cafe.

finally, finally, FINALLY! I updated my blog after one month! God, I had been so busy with my fics, with my sites...@.@ I'm going to finally graduate on April 11, then I can afford myself 60 days of rest, then I'm off to the real world. I do not want to think of what I'm going to do then...for now, I'll have to think of Yuki, Tohru, and my fics. And my sites, of course. *sigh*

Syao the Musolover blogged on Saturday, April 5, 2003/01:32 a.m.

I finally updated the Pitas space again! Geez, I can't fix the forum board! Anyway, I still can't get over the fact that I lost the slogan contest. I mean, I was pretty sure that I'll be chosen among the top three! But since it's already here, I can do no more about it. Oh well, there's still the ficcating world for me! Oh yeah, I'm still updating Fairy Tales -the forum- but things are not going very well. I can't remember my password, I can't remember my username...can u spell irritating? Thank GOD a friend told me that it IS possible that GMA will show Fruits Basket in the country. Wow! I wonder how the show will be advertised...GMA 7 is good on those sort of things! *remembers the Anime Assault Plug-in* I sure hope that the dubbing will be good! I mean, I can't imagine Fancy Lala dubber going Tohru, or Shulato doing Sohma Yuki! EEW! Basically, this is it for me. Sorry for the flaming red of this page. I'll think of a better lay-out later. For now, please make do with this.
